Beaver County Collaborative Action Network
Committees

CAN consists of three different types of committees:  Board Committees, Implementation Committees, and Community Committees.  CAN committees are responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of identified projects.

Board Committees
Board committees consider, advise and/or take action on matters related to the overall operations of the organization. There are two board committees: Executive Committee, and the Nomination Committee.

Implementation Committees
Implementation committees are formed by the CAN Board of Directors to execute activities indentifed by the Board. There are currently two implementation committees, the Countywide Training Committee and the Leadership Forum Planning Committee.

Community Committees
Community committees are created by the CAN Board of Directors as needed to: (a) study and assess issues; (b) identify and recommend specific options to address issues to the Board; (c) advocate for, and create change in, the human service delivery system; and (d) coordinate and share resources.
