Beaver County CAN exists to:

• Provide training and technical assistance.
• Assess community and organizational needs.

• Act as the catalyst for systems change.

• Beaver County CAN partners with other organizations to coordinate efforts to improve well-being.

• CAN supports initiatives with a focus on preventing problems and improving how services are delivered to individuals and families. Past initiatives include: Communities That Care (CTC) in Aliquippa and New Brighton, the Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP), and the Beaver County Early Care and Education Committee (BCECEC).

• CAN has partnered with Beaver County Children and Youth Services to support family group decision making in the child welfare system.

• Improve access to information and resources.
• Facilitate and support collaboration in Beaver County.
• Promote coordinated planning.
